About this policy
Watch Face Lab by Alternix lets you create and install Wear OS watch faces. This policy covers the phone app, watch companion and website. No account is required.
Projects and photos
Projects, selected photos, settings, age category, installation history and earned rewards are stored on your phone to operate the app. We do not create cloud copies of projects. The app processes only images you select, without accessing your whole gallery. Projects and photos are not shared with advertisers.
Watches and readings
At your request, designs containing images and text are sent to your watch through Google services, which may use Google's infrastructure. To connect and install, devices exchange watch information, installed watch faces and transfer results. Steps, heart rate and other readings come from the watch system and data providers, subject to permissions. We do not send health readings to the phone or advertisers or keep a health history. Compass readings are not stored or transmitted.
Advertising
Google AdMob displays ads only on the phone. Google and advertising partners may collect and share IP addresses, approximate location from IP, device and account identifiers, app and ad interactions, diagnostics and consent choices. Purposes include advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. Advertising data is encrypted in transit. App Set ID is used for analytics and fraud prevention, not ad personalization, ad measurement or linking with other identifiers for advertising.
Your choices
Before ads, you select an age category: 13–17 or 18+, not a birth date. Personalization is disabled for ages 13–17; the app is not intended for children under 13. You can change your age category and available advertising consent choices in settings. Google requests consent where required. Declining personalization does not turn off all ads. Rewarded ads are optional: declining does not block the editor or free features.
Storage and deletion
Android safeguards local app data. You can delete projects in the app; clearing app data or uninstalling removes its local data. Watch faces must be deleted separately on the watch. Google and partners retain data under their policies and may process it in other countries. If you contact support, we use your email address and message to respond and keep correspondence only as long as needed for support and legal requirements.
Website
The site runs on GitHub Pages: GitHub may receive IP addresses and request logs to operate the site. We use no advertising or analytics scripts here. Your selected theme is stored in your browser.

Questions and data requests: Alternix, alternix.apps@gmail.com. Depending on your country, you may have rights to access, correct or delete data, object to processing and complain to a supervisory authority. When practices change, we update this policy and its revision date.
