Creating QR codes

Choose a category, enter the required data, and tap Create QR code. The result can be styled, saved, shared, and reopened from local history.

Internet and advertising

QR creation and editing are performed locally. Internet access is needed for AdMob banners, consent messages, and rewarded ads required before PNG, SVG, PDF, EPS, or TIFF export. JPEG export remains available without a rewarded ad. Sharing with an opaque background is also available without a rewarded ad; sharing with a transparent background requires one.

Location and Wi-Fi

Automatic fill starts only when you request it and may require Android permissions. Android does not reveal saved Wi-Fi passwords to third-party apps, so enter the password manually.

Files and sharing

Saving uses Android’s system file picker. Sharing opens Android’s share sheet. QR Dot Lab cannot control how another selected app stores or transmits a shared file.
